ABOUT ME
My name is James. You may know me as solarseven. Either way, I love to create images and I have a passion for vectors, graphics, photography and photo-illustrations. I make ultra awesome images in the hope that you will be able to utilize them into your projects. My images are used globally by many major brands, companies as well as individuals and design agencies. In fact my images are accessible to anyone, anywhere thanks to the super wonderful web!
I grew up with a fond interest in drawing and sketching which eventually led to working in mixed media, acrylics and oils. Although talented (if I do say so myself) I quickly realized that to be successful in the world of art you need lots of luck and determination (of which I only seemed to have the latter). I soon moved over towards digital design work, creating webpages and design layouts. this continued for some time before I switched up again, this time to vector illustration and photo-manipulation. This switched proved to be a successful one and has led to my work being licensed globally hundreds of thousands of times.
My working day consists of creating and planning awesome vectors and images for image libraries.
My current collections can be found on sites such as Shutterstock, Fotolia, Dreamstime and Graphic River, to name but a few. If you have the time please check them out! Of course I also create bespoke vectors and photography for clients. If you have any special requests, can’t find the right license for you, or just want something created that no one else can have (sometimes it’s nice to have something uniquely yours!) please contact me. Although I’m nearly always busy, I will always find time for the right project. And I will always reply to you. Be sure to check out my blog and a slice of my work in the portfolio before you go.
